自動車税（じどうしゃぜい）の支払（しはら）いについて/Paying Car Tax

車（くるま）を持（も）っている人（ひと）に、「自動車（じどうしゃ）税（ぜい）種別（しゅべつ）割（わり）納税（のうぜい）通知（つうち）書（しょ））」が届（とど）きます。

5月（がつ）31日（にち）（火曜日（かようび））までに近（ちか）くのコンビニなどで支払（しはら）いをしてください。

普通（ふつう）自動車（じどうしゃ）を持（も）っている人（ひと）は、期限（きげん）までに支払（しはら）いをすると、ガソリンの割引（わりびき）などの特典（とくてん）があります。（※レシートが必要（ひつよう）です。なくさないようにしてください）

People who own a car should receive a notice of automobile taxation based on vehicle type (自動車税種別割納税通知書 – jidōshazei shubetsuwari nōzei tsūchisho).

Please make sure to pay the right amount of tax at your nearest convenience store or other available location by Tuesday, May 31^st.

People with a regular car (with a white numberplate) who pay their car tax before the deadline are able to receive some benefits, such as money off gasoline (※You will need a receipt to claim this, so make sure not to lose it.)
